Atex standards
All metallic and thermoplastic standard executions are adequate to operate in explosive atmospheres classified Zone 2 (Serie II 3/3 IIB T4). For operations in areas classified Zone 1 (Serie II 2/2 GD IIB T4), we offer pumps made of conductive parts for all thermoplastic and metallic versions.
Applications
Basis pumps are ideal for operating in water treatments, ice or drink vending machines. They can pump seawater, fresh water, acids, alkalis and all corrosive or toxic agents.
Composition
One of the best techno-polymers known for its chemical and mechanical resistance. Pumps made of E-CTFE can pump any liquid: highly corrosive, abrasive, hard liquids and even with high temperatures. Thanks to its structure, E-CTFE offers a superior robustness, and thus it improves reliability and durability.
Components
The magnetic drive eliminates rotary seal organs and the related risks of fluid loss in the environment. The simple construction base on few components plainly assembled eases any maintenance operation.
The pump is equipped with:
- pump front and rear with a single static O-ring
- guide bushes housed at the two ends of the pump body support the impeller
- impeller embedded with the shaft, bearing and magnetic core
- electric motor thermally protected incorporates the support of the pump casing

Magnetic drive pumps constructed of reinforced thermoplastic or fluorinated polymers and internal components made of ceramic oxides and carbon graphite excluding any metal part in contact with the pumped liquid. The combinations of materials, including the one that tolerates a temporary dry operation, ATEX construction and various electric moto power rates available make these pumps full-fledged small chemical pumps.

Composition
Chemically and mechanically resistant, this thermoplastic polymer is used for Prima pump to transfer acids, alkalis, detergents or even solvents. Thanks to its properties and dimensional stability, polypropylene is wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant as well as moderately abrasion-resistant.

Route
This series of thermoplastic or fluorinated polymers pumps is available in both magnetic drive setting and mechanical seal for pumping various chemical liquids even if laden with impurities and suspended solids. Mainly by the quantity and quality of these, you can choose the setting that better suits you. The mag-drive version features the patented “bi-directional axial self-alignment system” which allows, for the “R” configuration, to run dry. The combination of adequate materials of the driving system of the impeller with a specific magnetic field wholly eliminates all frontal frictions that are the cause of breakage when dry running. It is possible to couple standard motors without disassembling the pump.
